Billing & Wallet Setup Guide
1. Where to Find Billing
-
Go to Settings (usually a gear icon in the sidebar).
-
Click the “Billing” tab.
-
Don’t see it?
Not all users have access—usually, only admins/owners can manage billing. If it’s not your responsibility, no worries!
-
2. Wallet Overview
The Billing section will show you:
-
Wallet Balance:
Your current funds available for calls, AI usage, etc. -
Manual Balance Top-Up:
Add funds as a one-time action. -
Automatic Payments:
Turn this on for peace of mind—your wallet will refill automatically when it drops below a certain amount. -
Monthly Usage Summary:
See how much you’ve spent this month. -
Transaction History:
Every outbound/inbound call, AI task, and balance top-up will show as a separate transaction.
3. How to Add Funds / Connect Your Card
Manual Top-Up
-
Click “Add Balance”
-
Use the slider (or input box) to select how much to add.
-
Click “Top Up Wallet Balance”
-
If your card isn’t connected, you’ll be prompted to connect a credit card.
Automatic Payments
-
Highly recommended!
This ensures your balance never hits zero and calls/AI always work. -
How to activate:
-
Click on the red “Not Active” button for automatic payments.
-
Connect a credit card by entering your details, scanning the QR code, or sharing the payment link with someone else (for example, if your finance person needs to handle it).
-
Once a card is connected, you can enable automatic payments.
-
4. If You See a Red Bar Warning
-
This means you need to connect your wallet before your AI system can process calls/automation tasks.
-
Don’t delay! If your balance reaches zero:
-
Outbound calls (and other paid AI functions) will stop.
-
Inbound calls after a short ‘grace period’, all calls will pause until balance is restored.
-
5. Best Practices
-
Enable automatic payments: Avoid downtime due to missed payments or running out of balance.
-
Check your usage regularly: The summary and transactions make it easy to monitor expenses and spot any unexpected spikes.
-
Billing visibility:
-
If you don’t see the billing tab and believe you should, contact your account admin or support.
