Transferring a Sub Account Between Workspaces
Transferring a sub account is a specialized process—typically used when you need to move a client or project from one workspace to another within your AI builder. While it’s not something you’ll do every day, knowing how ensures you can efficiently support organizational changes or client transitions.
When & Why to Transfer a Sub Account
You’d use this feature if:

A client is moving to a different team or agency

You’re restructuring your workspace setup

You need to shift accounts for billing, access, or operational reasons
This keeps everything organized, without losing data or needing to manually recreate accounts.
Step-by-Step: How to Transfer a Sub Account

Obtain the Sub Account ID

In your CRM or sub account workspace, navigate to Settings > Business Profile (also available in your Ai Platform Subaccounts).

Click on the location ID to copy the sub account ID.

Initiate the Transfer Request

Go to your agency-level workspace.

Click New Sub Account, then select Transfer Account.

Paste the sub account ID.

(Optional) Add a note for internal reference.

Check the confirmation box and submit the request.

📝 Tip: The note you add is just for internal tracking—no one else will see it.

Approve the Transfer in the Destination Workspace

Log in to the destination workspace.

Under sub accounts, locate the account transfer request.

Click to accept the request.

Once approved, the sub account is moved over and ready for use in the new workspace!
🔄 Important: If you don’t see the transfer request, double-check that the sub account ID is correct and you’re in the right workspace.
